This is a T&V or Tressemennes and Vogt, Limoges France cup and saucer with a hand painted floral design with heavy gold trim, from the Edwardian era 1890-1910, and is signed by the artist Rousset I think.

Whether this is pottery decorated or bought as a blank and cottage artisan decorated, I am nor certain. It is clearly hand painted and beautifully done.

The fine porcelain cup measures 2.25 inches high by 4 inches in diameter and the saucer is 5.75 inches in diameter.

The T&V Limoges mark was used from 1892-1912 but I have been unable to locate the decorator's name during that time at the pottery as the records are not complete.  The cup and saucer is in very good  used vintage condition with no chips or cracks. There is wear to the gold center circle where the cup rests in the center and a few minor places on the rims. So elegant!
